WHO IS HYMNSON?​

Hymnson was born in Calgary, Canada but grew up in Boston as the "rebel child" of a Baptist Pastor father and conservative immigrant mother in an Irish Catholic community, so cultural expectations and identity/racial issues were embedded early. But living as the “token” and dealing with those prejudices from middle school thru college, Hymnson decided Hollywood is where he'd make his mark and seeks to break stereotypes and advocate for diversity & equality.​​

Hymnson was a WINNER of WeScreenplay's TV Contest and Roadmap Writers' Pitch Competition, a comedy writer for NBC's Diversity Showcase, a FINALIST for the Stowe Story Labs and WeScreenplay Feature Lab, a Semifinalist in Diverse Voices and the Mentorship Matters Program, among other writing accolades.​​

He's also built up extensive acting credits... Such as Recurring on the final season of legendary comedy series  "CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM" , starring in an adventure-comedy film with Billy Zane, and costarring with Jim Carrey on the tv series "Kidding", as well as numerous commercials. Hymnson also thrives as an Award-winning stuntman, having worked blockbuster movies & countless TV shows.

​Outside of "work", Hymnson is a diehard fan of Boston sports (but not obnoxiously...usually), volunteers with animal rescues, loves his 2 rescue dogs, enjoys learning new martial arts and combat techniques, and has completed 70+ escape rooms. Not to mention, he once won a taco eating contest at a random Cinco De Mayo festival in a Ralph's parking lot. Bucket list check!​
